Dejarik for PICO-8

Dejarik, a.k.a. holochess, is the game that Han and Chewie play on the Millennium Falcon where holographic monsters beat each other up on a circular board. This version doesn't have holograms, or a Wookiee for an opponent, but you can play it right from your browser! Now you and exactly one friend can master this spacey strategy game. That's right, it's a two player game. Not one. Two whole players!

This version of Dejarik is based on the board game version sold at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in the Disney Parks. There weren't enough pixels for a detailed rules breakdown in-game, so here's a handy-dandy tutorial. Have fun!

To the right, you'll see the PICO-8 cartridge for this game; if you own PICO-8 and would like to take a look at how I made it, be my guest!

Fantastic!

This is just great! :D

Could you make an update with arrows controls? The spirit of pico-8 is that keyboard is for development, or some special games, but regular games are playable with the 6-button controllers. For some games arrows are really unpleasant, but for a turn-by-turn game with restricted options they would be fine!

Thanks in advance!
